Eventually, I went to Amsterdam to realize my childhood dream - to become an “alternative kind of doctor”. I decided to study Chinese Medicine.

I graduated in 2003 after 5 yrs at the Shenzhou school of TCM on Gelderskade in Amsterdam, licensed according to EU standards.
This also included training in anatomy, physiology and pathology.

I have also taken additional courses in Japanese Acupuncture techniques and Toyohari at STEAM - Foundation for Study of Traditional East Asian Medicine with Steven Birch & Junko Ida.
Their teaching, patience and the time spent in their clinic has been a great gift.

But it does not stop there, education and investigation continues...
Diet, Reiki, Indian head massage, Foot Reflexology Massage, Bach Flower Remedies, Face reading etc, all to get the energy flowing!

In January 2007 I spent 6 weeks in Thailand learning Thai Yoga Massage, a powerful complement to the Acupuncture.
It is a form of Bodywork similar to Shiatsu, Physiotherapy, Osteopathy or Chiropractics rather than traditional massage.

It works wonders, especially on stiff and sore muscles, but also on stress and helps balance the emotions.
